Lecture: Remembering Rahere – Feb 4th 2025

St Bartholomew the Great is hosting a lecture by Professor Julian Luxford, University of St Andrew’s, that focuses on Rahere’s tomb and those of other religious founders.

Cost: £11.55 (£10 plus booking fee)
The talk considers the role that commemoration of founder figures played in English religious houses and particularly focuses on St Bartholomew’s Priory and the efforts to honour Rahere, the founder of St Bartholomew’s Priory and Hospital in 1123.
